Speed Sprint from August 3

Speed Sprint (car and bike rally) will be held on August 3 and 4. This is the fourth edition. The first two editions were held in Chandigarh in 2012 and the third edition was organised in Jaipur in June 2013. Entries from various parts of the country, including Punjab, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, Uttaranchal, Jammu and Kashmir, Delhi, Chandigarh and Panchkula are being registered. The event will be held at Ireo Waterfront.
Gulpreet Aulakh, an organiser of the event, said the event aims at promoting motorsport in the country.
The event will be held on a specially-designed tarmac track spread over 5 km. The track will have a number of obstacles and tricky turns to test the skill of the drivers.
Speed Sprint will be organised in Indore, Delhi and Agra. For Speed Sprint Ludhiana, the scrutiny of vehicles will be done in the morning on August 3. The competitive rounds will begin on August 4.
